Man in court over drugs find at Belfast International

A Dutch has appeared in court yesterday charged in connection with a seizure of 100 small packages of cocaine at Belfast International Airport this week. He was charged with attempting to smuggle drugs.
Customs officials intercepted the 24-year-old as he arrived on a flight from Amsterdam on Tuesday. He appeared before Larne Magistrates Court on Friday, where he was remanded in custody. He is due to appear in court again via video link later this month.
