Vegas flights take off
04.05.08
The first flight from Belfast to Las Vegas will took off on Thursday. The new route means the world's most famous gambling haven will be the furthest destination holiday makers can travel to from Belfast on a non-stop flight.
The weekly Thomas Cook Airlines flight from Belfast International Airport is already proving popular with customers. Frank Pullman, Managing director of Thomas Cook, said: ‘We have analysed flight demands in the region.'
‘Because we have a fleet of 42 aircraft, we've been able to adapt our schedule to offer more choice with exciting new destinations. Everyone at the airline has worked incredibly hard in preparation for summer so we are looking forward to serving Ireland.’
The airline is also operating direct flights from Belfast to Antalya in Turkey and Zante in Greece this summer.
