Aer Lingus to add extra Heathrow flight
08.08.09
Aer Lingus is to increase the frequency of its Belfast - Heathrow route to four return flights a day. The new rotation will be addition to its existing three flights a day, which depart Belfast International at 07:40, 12:50 and 17:25. The news comes after it was announced this week that Aer Lingus had secured the two-year £1m government contract for flying civil servants and other Government employees between Belfast and Heathrow.
Aer Lingus, which launched the Belfast to Heathrow route in January 2008, is to announce details of the new service later this month. Enda Corneille, Aer Lingus corporate affairs director, said: ‘We will be finalising the details within the next week.’
