Ryanair deny plane suffered ash problems
10.05.10
Ryanair denied claims that volcanic ash was found in the engines of its planes at Belfast City Airport yesterday, the BBC reports.
Four Ryanair flights were cancelled from the Belfast airport yesterday, leaving hundreds of passengers stranded. Some said that they were told the cancellations were due to the ash being found in the engines. However, the airline said the planes had separate technical problems unrelated to the ash cloud caused by the Icelandic eruption.
