Plane tyre burst at Belfast City

A plane burst a tyre at Belfast City Airport this morning. The front tyre of a private aircraft, carrying four passengers and three crew, burst as it was taxiing to a stand.
An airport spokesman said the runway had not been closed, and no-one on the flight, which was from the Isle of Man, had been injured. One flight was affected by the incident but service has returned to normal, he added.
