Owners Ferrovial, who bought the airport in 2003 and also own BAA, said today that they are ‘considering strategic alternatives’ to their shareholding. It is understood that KPMG are overseeing the sale. It is reported that there has been considerable interest and a sale should be completed in the final 3 months of the year.
