Retail space at the airport will be increased by 60% and new tenants include World Duty Free, WH Smith, Bushmills Bar, Harvest Market restaurant and Lavazza Coffee, which have created 20 jobs. New security search facilities at the airport are also due to be completed before Christmas.
Brian Ambrose, chief executive of Belfast City Airport said: ‘Passengers will see a remarkable difference when departing from the airport. This significant investment will enhance our customer experience as we aim to stay ahead of the curve in accommodating increasing passenger numbers.’
