Belfast Airport drug smuggler jailed

A man has been jailed for 2 years for trying to smuggle over 13kg of cannabis into the UK through Belfast International Airport.
Philip Stuart Page, 21, who is originally from Shrewsbury but had been living in Spain, was arrested in August last year. In a search of his bags after he flew in from Alicante Customs officers found cannabis resin with a street value of more than £38,000.
Mr Page was jailed for 2 years at Antrim Crown Court yesterday for knowingly being concerned with the importation of Class C drugs.
