Man charged over airport drugs find

A 38-year-old Belfast man has been charged with attempting to smuggle 4 kilos of cannabis with an estimated street value of £40,000 into the UK via Belfast International Airport. UK Border Agency staff discovered the drugs in luggage taken from a flight to Belfast from Amsterdam on Monday.
The man was arrested and questioned at Antrim Police station. He was bailed to appear before Antrim Magistrates' on 28 December.
