Belfast City Airport rated worst for parking

Belfast City Airport received the lowest score of any UK airport for its car parking in a customer survey. In the report by the consumer magazine Which? both Belfast airports received average to lower-than-average scores in a study of 38 UK hubs, but Belfast City was the only one to get just one star out of five for its parking facilities.
The consumer watchdog asked 9,000 flyers to rate UK airports they had used in the last year. Which? said the distance between the long stay car park and the terminal at Belfast City Airport – and the high car park charges may have played a role in customers' disapproval of the airport's parking facilities.
Belfast City Airport was also among just four UK airports to be given one star for its shopping facilities. But it was awarded four stars for check-in, airport experience and time and distance, with an overall 55 percent customer score placing it joint 18th with Birmingham Terminal One, Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Leeds Bradford airports. Belfast International Airport received a 50 percent customer rating, putting it in 27th place alongside Glasgow International.
